The scope of ultrasound examinations:
- abdominal cavity
- peripheral lymph nodes,
- salivary glands,
- soft tissue (e.g. lipomas),
- urinary tract,
- testicles (scrotum)
- vessels (flows – Doppler test)
Preparation for abdominal examination:
- at least 5 hours without food,
- full bladder (you can drink non-carbonated water).
It is worth taking with you previous results of imaging tests (ultrasound, CT, MR) – to assess the dynamics of changes.
